de Vision

Dépourvue de Vision is a series of illustrative works exploring the limits of perception and the instability of visual understanding. The project questions how we construct meaning through sight, and how recognition depends on prior experience and memory.

Although the drawings depict familiar forms, they are intentionally fragmented and reconfigured, creating ambiguous relationships between objects. What appears recognizable at first glance gradually dissolves into uncertainty, challenging the viewer’s instinct to categorize and define.

The work reflects on the tension between perception and imagination—suggesting that seeing is never purely objective, but always shaped by interpretation. Based on graphite outline drawings, the illustrations were later compiled into a bound book as a final presentation of the project.
